Cheryl’s deepest satisfaction and greatest joy comes from loving and serving others.
For more than 15 years, Cheryl has used her time, talents, and passion in the non-profit world. The majority of that time was spent working at a children’s camp in Lake Arrowhead.
From 2013 to 2016 Cheryl lived in Chaing Mai, Thailand working with an NGO to create programs and teach English at their children’s camp. The time spent living among the people of Thailand has given Cheryl a greater understanding of the cultural diversity and a renewed appreciation for the freedoms and privilege of living in the United States. It truly was the most rewarding and difficult thing she has done up to this point in her life.
Building relationships and facilitating partnerships in important and meaningful work and training others to do the same, is what Cheryl brings to the Echoes of Hope team.
